The Embodied Fitness Group

This is for you if

  • You are sick of having to force your body to move or you tend to give up before you start
  • You believe intuitively moving your body is possible, but you’re not sure where to begin
  • You seek the magic of community support around reprogramming toxic fitness messages
  • You theoretically reject weight stigma, but it’s hard not to think about how exercise will change your body
  • You want to finally find ease in starting and stopping movement

As part of this group, you will get

A 7-week small group journey through the tenets of embodied fitness


Seven live 90-minute virtual workshops involving movement, self-reflection, and discussion 

(recordings available to participants)


Weekly prompts for movement exploration on your own


Accountability for daily body awareness check-ins


Unlimited email support with me during the program


Topics will include

Ease - identifying body sensations, starting slowly, and deepening awareness


Consent - exploring the Yes and empowering the No


Pleasure - expanding the somatic experience of pleasurable sensations


Authenticity  - identifying what matters most to you in a movement experience


Flexible Structure - planning for movement on your own

Make time for yourself.

The calls will be recorded! They will be sent to all participants within 24 hours.  All participants will be asked on their application to commit to maintaining the confidentiality of these calls.


A yoga mat and light to moderate weight dumbbells are recommended.


There will be planned, low-impact movement sequences with many options for alternatives and for rest during all calls.  There will be no high-impact movement. The purpose of the movement is to explore rather than to fatigue.


If your ability to access this class is contingent upon your need for either a partial (50%) or full scholarship, given your best judgment of your own financial situation, you qualify. At least one partial scholarship and one full scholarship will be available during each round this group is held, and they will be granted in order of application submission and approval.


The plan is to hold this workshop periodically, dependent on many factors. Getting into this round is the best guarantee to getting the content.
